The Australian federal election is just around the corner. After years of authoritarian lockdowns and Covid restrictions is big change coming to Aussie politics.

To answer that question Dusty talks to Dr Stephen Chavura -- an historian and political studies lecturer -- who has been shocked but not entirely surprised as to where we now find ourselves. Dusty and the Dr talk about the rise of nation-wide freedom protests and the alternative political freedom parties.

Dr Stephen Chavura holds a Ph.D. in the history of early-modern English political thought. He is widely published in prestigious journals, his research interests include the history of political thought, church and state in history, modern political philosophy and freedom of speech.
