Australians in their thousands from across the country have gathered in Canberra to protest against vaccine mandates.

A seemingly endless stream of people were seen crossing Commonwealth Bridge heading towards Parliament House with more still on their way and in all directions.

The protesters, who had arrived in trucks, cars, and buses over the course of the past week, had camped out at a nearby fairground.

The protest is one of several "freedom convoys" inspired by the Canadian truckers' protest
